Who or What is being Channeled?

Alice Bailey and DK taught that the world is a
manifestation of thought and that Initiates and Adepts, using meditations and
visualizations, can communicate with the Spiritual Hierarchy which gives
directions to the human race and guides our evolution. Bailey taught that the
Hierarchy of Masters exists in Shambhala and that Venusians founded this fabled
city some 18 million years ago on the sacred Gobi island, which is now in the
Mongolian desert. (Venus or the Morning Star was the mythical home of Isis, of
Ishtar, of Quetzalcoatl of Mexico, and of Lucifer, the Lightbringer.) It was
here that Atlanteans founded a settlement some 60,000 years ago. After Atlantis
was destroyed Shambhala became the cradle of the Fifth Aryan root-race, our
ancestors if we are white Europeans. The Aryans had retreated there with their
emerging Hierarchy of Masters.
Shambhala is also a state of consciousness. Alice Bailey
wrote that the "Aryan mind" had during this time lost its magical
powers over (or with ?) Nature - their ancient shamanic-spiritual-psychic
natures were sacrificed and, instead and to compensate, they evolved a process
of initiations to the Masters, gurus or Immortal Adepts. The Aryans thus
developed a superior intelligence, according to Bailey, to those of other
contemporary races and peoples, such as the Mongols. (see
note 23)
Already the Venusians were said to have brought the ''Fire of Mind'' that had
led to to the development of the city-based cultures that heralded Patriarchy.
Alice Bailey and her Master DK, like the Theosophists before them, considered
that the early neolithic, peaceful, Earthbased Goddess cultures of dark peoples
stood in the way of ''progress'' and that present-day indigenous peoples are the
decadent remnants of former races that were to die off to make room for the
superior city-centred Aryans. Cities were created to cut us off from Earth and
her spirits. The Nazis were avid students of Helena Blavatsky's ''The Secret Doctrine''
(see
note 24), the book in
which she discusses the root-races. The Aryans were commanded by their supreme
Heaven / Light / Sky / god - who dwelt on high mountains and demanded fire
sacrifices - to keep their race pure, their blood uncontaminated and not to
mingle with other races.
The Atlanteans had been highly emotional and sensitive
and were of a mystical and devotional nature. According to Bailey they had no
mental understandings however, ie, they were ''feminine'' by nature, and the
task now was to make the mind Aryan, male and mental / abstract. It was in this
left brain that the Masters were to be found. This is the part of the mind which
is linear, detached, analytical. It is the patriarchal - spectator - uninvolved
- cold mindset that insures that the voices of the Spirits and of the Earth can
no longer be heard. Bailey saw this mindset as evolutionary and necessary but it
is just this lobotomised Western male mind that brought us now to the brink of
complete disaster and the death of Nature.
Bailey wrote that the Hierarchy and its leader, the
Christ, came into manifestation to redeem substance, ''the unprincipled
substance of which all forms are made''. This is of course Mother Earth or the
Goddess and She was to be subjected to patriarchal ''law and order''.
Imperialists have in all times seen themselves as superior and of a higher moral
and spiritual order than those they oppress, rape and murder, and whose lands
they rip off and peoples they enslave. To rape Mother Earth, to commit Matricide
- ripping iron ore, minerals, oil, uranium, out of Her womb - you must first
numb your mind and emotions and still Earth's voices as they scream, because if
you feel empathy you cannot carry out your murderous task. Evil is the lack of
empathy with other beings and with creation, and the Devil is the creation of
those who deny the Goddess.
The Master or King of the World is rumored to dwell in
Shambhala which is seen as the earthly point of contact with the spirit realm.
This King of the World, being a Venusian, would appear to be an Extraterrestrial
and Shambhala, the City of Light, might be a spaceship or UFO. Or is it a
subterranean city in the realm that Ramtha speaks of ? Is this the King of
Terror that Nostradamus prophesied would arrive in 1999 ? Hitler was seeking
this city of Light and sent expeditions to Tibet and beyond. It is for this
Master of the World and the Hierarchy that Alice Bailey's organisations work and
they are preparing for the day when the Masters will walk the Earth again.
Remember here how John Keel wrote that he had been
appalled at the racist, and specifically anti-African, comments coming from tall
blond or redhaired supposed Venusians in the 50's and 60's.Why did this Master
of the World communicate with Hitler in terrifying visitations? I have not taken
leave of my senses by the way - only asking questions and following the logic of
channelers and New Agers.

It was commonly thought at the end of the last century,
and the Theosophists were no way on their own in this, that the Indo - European
(Aryan) languages had spiritual origins while other languages were originally animal! Martin Bernal writes in
"Black Athena: the Afro-Asiatic roots of Classical Civilisation"
(see
note 25)
that the Afro-Asiatic family of Semitic, Egyptian and African languages were
only accepted after 1940.
Merlin Stone wrote in "Three Thousand Years of
Racism'' (see
note 26) that it was first in Sanscrit and the Indian Vedas, written by
Aryan poets and seers ca. 1,500 BC, that darkness became associated with evil
and light with all things good. Racism came to inform the very beliefs of the
Indo/Aryans about the very structures and purpose of the Universe.
Light-skinned, horse-riding, weapon-wielding hordes of
Aryan warriors had descended from the Russian Steppes into northern India
sometime in the second millennium BC. Pro to-Aryans had come into Europe and into
the Middle East ever since 4,000 BC according to Marija Gimbutas (see
note 27). These invading
Kurgan/ Aryan warriors found, in what is today Pakistan, an ancient and peaceful
advanced culture that had flourished for more than a thousand years in the Indus
valley. This was one of the great civilisations of the ancient world and
belonged to the dark indigenous ancestors of the present day Dravidians. It was
centred around the great cities of Harappa and Mohenjo-daro. which had great
civil and religious brick-buildings, sanitation and paved streets and the
culture stretched for 950 miles along the Indus river. The dark Dravidians were
a Goddess-centred, matrifocal, agricultural and sedentary people who traded far
and wide
The invading Aryans had no culture of their own and were
illiterate, nomadic, pastoral, and warlike, but had developed a superior weapons
technology. (Today their descendants hold the world to ransom with atomic
weapons!) They spent the next 300 years devastating the Harappan culture and
appropriating to themselves the cultural and technological achievements of the
Harappans who also had an as yet undeciphered language. When the Aryans started
city-building themselves, they did not have to start from scratch.
The Aryans had an abstracted portable anti-natural god
that bore no relationship or allegiance to the sacred land and was suitable for
shepherd-warriors set on conquest. Jehovah of the Hebrews was also just such a
god. These conquerors treated the subjugated and enslaved populations as cattle
and set about domesticating them. They saw themselves as by nature superior and
called themselves the Sons of the shining Sky, and Shepherds of the people,
while the dark indigenous peoples were of the dark inferior Earth and of the
Serpent. The Aryans developed myths of white-skinned Godkings or Saviours who had descended from the sky
and gave the arts of civilization to the formerly tribal peoples. Tribal and
kinship links based in mother-blood were to be severed and were slandered as
static, backward, formless, inferior. It was said that those ancient peoples
were devoid of morals, law, order, hierarchies and caste. They were called
formless and intermingling because they did not favour heterosexuality,
bisexuality being our natural human condition.
The Aryan Brahmins introduced the caste system, based
in the colour of skin, the doctrine of Karma and Purdah for women, as well as
patrilinear inheritance through the fathers. They rewrote the myths of creation
and ousted the Great Mother, demonized the living Earth and blamed women for
the Fall from Paradise. The Aryans introduced kingship and patriarchal
structures based in hierarchies of gender and race and always God was on their
side even as they committed Matricide, looted and raped. All of us were to be
damned because we are Mother-born. Far from the Aryans being a great evolutionary
force they set back cultures and peoples hundreds and thousands of years. Only
when women are free will we evolve as we were intended to do.
When Mme Blavatsky wrote "The Secret
Doctrine" and Alice Bailey developed her theories of the Aryan mind neither of them knew of the Indus
valley culture, nor did they know of Catal Huyuk and the Anatolian (Land of the
Mothers ) Godddess culture,
or of Malta or Crete. It was only with John Marshall's excavation of the Indus Valley culture, and his
published work in 1931, that anything was known about the Harappan Culture
(see
note 28). Today's New Agers should
know better however, but it
does not seem so as David Spangler, the American prophet at Findhorn in the
early 70's and devotee of Alice
Bailey, still claimed in 1977 (not 1877) that it was with the Aryan race that
the powers of the mind came into
their own and that it was with this event that the Hierarchy of Secret Masters
or White Brotherhood (see
note 29)
emerged. Like Ken Carey, Spangler advocates that we distance ourselves from Nature to a point where Her
voices are no longer heard. We are to leave Earth behind and become as one with the male Christ energy.
Findhorn was founded in 1962 toanchor the Plan of the Masters, to be a Light Centre. Peter Caddy, one
of the founders believed in the Masters and his then wife, Eileen, channeled "the voice of
God". Her Voice had told her that Spangler had the Christ energies and he was therefore made a
co-director when he arrived at Findhorn where he founded the University of
Light. (see
note 30)
The Forces of Light fighting the Forces of Darkness
is a popular theme in the New Age movement and Sir George Trevelyan, as some
latterday St. George, writing Freemasonry language and using military terms
(see
note 31) was one of its foremost advocates. He was also a great supporter of Findhorn and
its Plan of Light, and was a devotee of Rudolf Steiner. To him, as to so many
New Agers, St. Michael, the shining archangel and Dragon/Mother slayer, is an
Avatar of the heroic conquering male Sun. Never mind that in so many ancient
cultures, including the Nordic and Celtic, the Sun was female. The Serpent and
Dragon represent Earth's magnetic watery/fiery spirit.
It was with the Aryan/Iranian prophet Zarathustra
(Zoroaster
in Greek) that the racism of the Indo-Aryans developed into a worldview. One
group of Aryans had entered Iran before the second milenium BC but the earliest
evidence of any writing dates from the 7th Century. This while the neighbouring
non-Aryan cultures, such as the Sumerians. were highly literate and cultured, as
witness the mystery religion of Inanna and Her descent into the underworld. The
Zarathustrian Zend Avesta texts date from the 6th Century BC. To Zarathustra all
of creation was divided against itself in extreme dualism. There is an eternal
cosmic struggle between Ahriman, the Prince of Darkness and Great Serpent, and
Ahura Mazda, the God of Light and everything good and beautiful. Ahriman dwells
within Earth's dark fiery womb and everything dark, including dark peoples and
the dark Earth, are demonic and of his essence. The whole of humanity and the
whole of creation are involved in the struggle between good/light and
evil/darkness. The first woman, the Demon Whore Queen, is blamed for the Fall from Paradise. She is
Ahriman's lover and she causes women to menstruate. The Hebrews in exile in
Babylon became influenced by this thinking and to them Ahriman became Satan, and
Eve was blamed for the Fall.
The religion of Zarathustra had reached the West long
before those of Buddha and Confucius, and had arrived in Greece four centuries
before Christianity. It influenced Gnostic thought and we have inherited us
dualism. Equating peoples of darker races, and darkness itself, with the Devil
or some supernatural force of evil, has appeared throughout the religious
accounts of ancient Aryans and is still with us in today's Christendom. The
Roman soldiers had worshipped Mithras, a Persian Saviour god. He was the
Unconquered Sun and born at Midwinter Solstice. Mithras promised immortality and
resurrection. When Christianity became Rome's state religion it can be said that
it was this god of light and war who was installed since he was far more useful
in the church's conquest of the Pagan European peasantry than the meek and mild,
dark and Semitic, Jesus of Nazareth who had renounced worldly power and wealth
(see
note 32). Jesus had preached non-violence and that the poor are blessed, but
today we have Prosperity Theology in the USA and fundamentalist warriors for the
Lord.
We have by now also forgotten how much of European
racism (I'm not discussing its Church-inspired anti-semitism and pogroms here)
was influenced by the crusades to vanquish the so-called infidels, or Moslems,
in the Holy Land and even more so by the presence of North African Moors in
Spain, on the very doorstep of central Europe. The dark Moors inhabited most of
the Iberian peninsula for more than 700 years and they created a culture that
was enlightened and tolerant. It was a haven for heretics, women, freethinkers,
and Jews, who were otherwise persecuted in mediaeval Christian Europe. Spain was
cultured, and the arts, music, sciences and philosophy flourished there.
Andalucia in southern Spain was the centre and Granada the stronghold of Moorish
culture until late in time.
During those centuries of Moorish rule in Spain
man> thousands of Christians from all over Europe made the very dangerous
pilgrimage across the Pyrenees, and the Galician mountains in the North, to
Santiago de Compostella. Santiago was called Matamoro. which means the
Moor-slayer, and the dark Moor who is flayed or speared by him in image and
sculptures is interchangeable with the dragon flayed by St. Michael or St.
George. These images are part of the European psyche and have been inherited by
the New Age movement. St. George is the patron saint of several countries in
Europe. Santiago was held high by the conquistadors in the Americas and there he
was called Mataindie, slayer of the "Indians". Granada fell to the
Christians the same year, 1492, as Columbus set out on his Journey.
