Monica, Although we only met 2 years ago, you will always have a place in my heart. My abiding memory is of your indomitable spirit, immense courage and energy. I remember how you got out of your chair and danced with me in Czech Republic. And we danced .... Brian

Monica, I can't believe it is over 40 years since we first met. I remember you, Sean and Toivoh in the little cottage behind Blackboy Hill. Our paths crossed so often (not so much in recent years due to circumstances). I shared your grief over your losses and admired your strength of character and your innovative and strong beliefs. I will miss you but you will always be in my heart.

Dearest Monica,

I always remember how you looked like a young spring maiden with a twinkle in your eyes. Your youthful spirit shone through and your sang and danced your way through so many circles of womin. Now Here we are to honour you and your wisdom as you lie in 'state' in this beautiful garden today.

We have come to say our goodbyes as you join the ancestors. Blessed Be, Much Love  Li Sah

Monica,

I remember you turning up at my cottage near Lampeter when we were young women, full of hope. You were like a mountain, both in strength of your spirit, as in your grief. You were a wise woman, explaining the ways of the Otherworld to me after Jamie died,  a priestess, a crone – and most importantly – a friend.   Blessed be    Kasia

We loved and we argued and you made my life so much richer, dear Monica. Thank you also for sharing your lovely children and grandchildren with me. You've become one of the Ancestors now and I will be singing that song we sang together to our dead children to you too.

Be at peace darling.

Monica, she had an air spirit, quick and graceful in the dance, / contd.

winding the spiral path to the Centre. Another blast was keen and relent- less. A storm at the house of patriarchy, rattling the windows and doors.

Farewell - you were a wonder.

Greetings also from Annie Craze from Penzance, Ann and Adrian in Wells.

"God Giving Birth" – what a statement! I remember it was removed from her exhibition at Swiss Cottage Library in the early 70s because it was considered blasphemous! Later I met this beautiful goddess who flowed so gracefully with the moon and the waters of the Spirit.

Ho Monica! May we meet again! Blessed Be!

[Keith's recollection is that the Festival of Light called for it to be banned but it wasn't – though it was removed from one or two other events, including Lancaster as late as 1980]

Bless Monica and the circle that binds us all. I was so moved by the last exhibition in Bath. I wish I could have known her better. Love from Paul xxx   44 Coronation Rd, Downend, Bristol BS16 5SL
